, 6th Awards Cycle: 2020-2021 | LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction, TheCircularEconomy.comThe regional LafargeHolcim Awards (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and Acknowledgement prize winning projects will be announced in a hybrid event on November 13, 2021, as part of the 17th international Biennale of Architecture in Venice, Italy. The Global LafargeHolcim Awards (Gold, Silver and Bronze) will be announced at the same event by Hashim Sarkis, curator of the Biennale and Head of the Global LafargeHolcim Awards jury 2021.

Representatives of the 33 Main Category winning teams are invited to attend this event in person and receive the Awards and Acknowledgement prize trophies.

Another major data center cluster is emerging in Northern Virginia, as more developers are building campuses near Leesburg, about 10 miles west of Northern Virginia’s primary data center hub in Ashburn.  The latest developer to select Leesburg is TA Realty, which this week unveiled plans for a huge data center campus just off the Loudoun Greenway and Sycolin Road. The company plans to invest $1.8 billion to create a 300-megawatt campus with an on-site substation and more than 1.5 million square feet of data center space. TA Realty said the initial buildings (plural) will come online in late 2021.
