Did you know leather contributes to a circular economy? As long as people eat meat, converting hides to leather contributes to a circular economy.
A new service is partnering with major brands to offer popular consumer products in reusable packaging – but will it convince people to go green?
A process that will look into a ban will be announced Monday, and the ban could come into effect as early as 2021, according to an anonymous source.
Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man, plans to transform each of the units under his refining-to-retail conglomerate to create a sustainable business model as Reliance Industries Ltd. chases a net carbon-zero goal by 2035.
“We have no option as a society, as a business but to really adopt a sustainable business model,” Ambani told Bloomberg Television’s Haslinda Amin as part of the Qatar Economic Forum Monday. “I think that’s a prerequisite for every business to survive as we go forward.”

A recent Gartner CEO survey, for instance, shows that about half of CEOs see climate change as having a major impact on their business. According to Gartner analyst Tiny Haynes, there are many factors that can help IT leaders achieve a sustainable future. “The idea of simply using renewable energy is not sustainable in its entirety,” he said.
