Leaders In Footwear Sustainability Announce Zero-X™, The No-Glue Shoe

I recently had the chance to look back at some of the Plastics Division’s environmental stewardship programs, and I’m struck by how our engagement on the marine litter/plastic waste issue has grown.

The Turner Foundation recently awarded the Georgia Tech Foundation a $40,000 grant to support two projects of the region’s new sustainability network, RCE Greater Atlanta, officially acknowledged by the United Nations University.

Aligned with Tadweer’s goals to work towards building and implementing integrated waste management practices according to the highest standards adopted globally, and to incentivize environmental responsibility among all its stakeholders, including Abu Dhabi Residents, the MOU will support Tadweer’s efforts to minimize the waste production, enhance its recovery and promote sustainable culture among the public and restaurants.
