Meet FBAUP Design Inc., a students association at FBAUP, the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, and responsbile for PSC16’s image. This year, we had to pleasure to work closely with Bruna Martins and Tiago Andrade, talented designers at FBAUP Design Inc., and they were available to answer a few questions about their work for PSC.
In the past year, DS Smith has worked closely with the Foundation as a pilot partner of its circular economy tool, Circulytics. The tool works to measure circularity in a simple and effective way, allowing for companies to hold a mirror up to their business practices and better their internal processes.
On January 30, the Sustainable Energy Education & Development Support of Northeastern PA and the Chamber of the Northern Poconos announced The Highlights Foundation in Boyds Mills, Wayne County has been awarded the 2022 Green Business of the Year Award. In 2019, Highlights Foundation adopted an Energy Mission Statement, which was “to lead the way in a transition to net positive energy usage at Boyds Mills by end of 2021 via creation of an energy management plan and its implementation, while providing educational opportunities to those who are touched by this property.”
Residents of Stittsville have a lot of e-waste and were able to downsize their homes of unused electronics on April 27 thanks to the Stittsville & District Lions Club. Cars, SUVs and vans lined up to unload at the Club’s hall on Main Street starting at 9:00am.
