Mulalley Sustainability SECBE Awards 2020 finalist – Holy Trinity, Tulse Hill – straw bale build (submitted by Holy Trinity Church) Tulse Hill Straw Build is a client-designed community building built by the community – over 500 volunteer builders to date constructing a large, permanent facility from straw and other up-cycled or low carbon materials in South London. The much-needed facility includes a large hall, kitchen, office, 3 group rooms, lift & link to Grade II Listed church.

Australia’s 2025 National Packaging Targets were unveiled last Tuesday at an event convened by the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO). Environment Minister Melissa Price commended APCO, Woolworths and the initial working group of major companies including Coca-Cola Amatil, Nestlé and Unilever, for tackling Australia’s waste challenges and supporting the targets. At the event, Price launched the Australasian Recycling Label to help consumers better understand how to recycle packaging.
E.ON and Nissan have successfully deployed 20 vehicle-to-grid (V2G) chargers as part of a trial to demonstrate how electric vans and cars could play a role in supporting the UK grid and provide a profitable and sustainable solution for business fleets. The install at Nissan’s European Technical Centre in Cranfield is the first in a large-scale V2G trial co-funded by Innovate UK.
