Our lives often follow a linear path. We buy something, throw it away when we’re done with it, and that’s where too many stories end. This pattern leads to a lot of waste. If we want to combat this wastefulness, it’s time to start living life in a circle. Completing the circle means taking the waste and turning it into something new. This circular approach to life is exactly what Circle by Norm is all about.
The economy today works as one straight line. Raw materials are taken from the environment, made into goods and then thrown away. However, this method of manufacturing isn’t sustainable in the long run. A circular economy is the answer to maintaining the earth’s finite resources. Instead of being thrown out, materials are continuously repurposed and reused. This emerging system is gaining momentum with businesses, countries and consumers, but there is plenty of work ahead.

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has started a new green initiative where it has partnered with RBH E-Waste Recycle Hub Pvt. Ltd. to dispose off old and unserviceable IT equipment from the offices, citizens, RWAs, markets etc. The corporation has launched an application for submitting the online request for collecting the e-waste. The citizens can visit the website ewaste.mcdservices.online and create an account. They can then raise the request on this portal and the vendor will collect the e-waste from their doorsteps within seven days.
